This stepper motor driver module can be used separately or in combination with a CNC shield or 3D printer.

Specifications:

  • Voltage range (VM): 4.75-29V
  • Voltage range (VIO): 3.3-5V
  • Maximum current: 2.0A per phase (continuous, with cooling), 2.8A peak per phase
  • Works with 3.3V and 5V signals
  • Current limit that can be set with the potentiometer
  • Supports up to 1/256-step
  • Supported configuration via CFG pins or UART
  • Has StealthChop2™ technology for quieter stepper motors
  • Has SpreadCycle TREADADE technology for smoother movements
  • Has CoolStep™ technology for energy saving up to 75% compared to previous generations

  • Protection built in for high temperatures, high currents, low voltage (UVLO) and short-circuit
  • Comes with cooling block for better cooling (cooling block can be placed on the side without components)

Note: The motor direction is reversed relative to the A4988 and DRV8825 based drivers. You can make changes to the software or mirror the motor pins (for hardware purposes).
