This sensor serves as a replacement for a PIR sensor and works based on microwaves and the Doppler effect. This sensor can detect movement due to a difference in speed, which also works through almost all materials except metal.

The sensor status can be read via the "OT2" pin or via the UART interface (OT1 = TX).
