Chirp! Plant Watering Alarm - Capacitive Soil Moisture Sensor with Buzzer

An independent soil moisture sensor from Chirp! with built-in buzzer that gives a warning (chirp) when the soil moisture level is low. The threshold of the moisture level can be set with the button. This soil moisture sensor lasts a long time on a button cell battery, that's what the sensor is specially made for. Although this sensor is independent, the code can be modified. The sensor differs from other soil moisture sensors by the capacitive measurement instead of a resistive measurement. This makes the sensor a lot more resistant to corrosion and therefore lasts longer.
