This battery module from Waveshare is made for the Raspberry Pi Pico or other microcontrollers that use the same pin layout. With this module with included battery you provide your microcontroller with an uninterrupted power supply (UPS). The microcontroller will therefore not reset if the charging voltage drops or appears. The battery can be charged via the USB port of the microcontroller that is mounted on it.
