TMC2225 Motor Driver Module - V1.1

This TMC2225 is similar to the TMC2208 Motor Driver. This stepper motor driver module can be used separately or in combination with a CNC shield or 3D printer.

Specifications:

• Motor voltage range (VM): 4.75-36V
• Logic voltage range (VIO): 3-5V
• Maximum motor phase current: 1.4A RMS, 2.0A peak
• Current limit that can be set with the potentiometer
• Supports up to 1/256-step
• Supports configuration via CFG Pins or UART (RX and TX Pins)
• UART Configuration interface: 9600-500k Baud
• RX and TX pins are accessible from the top
• Has StealthChop™ technology for quieter stepper motors
• Has SpreadCycle™ technology for smoother movements
• Protection built-in for too high temperatures, high currents, too low voltage (UVLO) and short circuit
• Comes with cooling block for better cooling (cooling block can be placed on the side without components)
• Pin designations are printed on the top of the module

Note: The motor direction is reversed from the A4988 and DRV8825 based drivers. You can make changes in the software or mirror the motor pins (hardware).
