TMC2209 Motor Driver Module V4.0

This driver module is almost identical to the TMC2209 Motor Driver Module V3.1, this V4.0 version replaces the original CLK pin with a module type identification pin.

This stepper motor driver module can be used separately or in combination with a CNC shield or 3D printer. Compared to many other stepper motor drivers, this one has a number of special features, including:

• StealthChop2™ technology for quieter stepper motors
• SpreadCycle™ technology for smoother movement
• CoolStep™ technology for energy savings of up to 75% compared to previous generations
• StallGuard™ technology for resistance detection and sensorless homing

Note: The motor direction is reversed compared to the A4988 and DRV8825 based drivers. You can make changes to the software or mirror the motor pins (hardware).

Note: To use UART, a 1kΩ resistor must be placed between the RX and TX pins.
