L293D Motor Shield with shift register

This shield is based on an Adafruit shield and offers control for two servo motors and four DC motors or two bipolar/unipolar stepper motors.
The shield has a shift register built in which can save a large number of pins.

Specifications:

• Input voltage(external power supply): 5-12V DC (warning: the old V1 shield from Adafruit can handle up to 25V DC, this shield can handle up to 12V DC!)
• Output current per channel: 600mA

Please note: Arduinos based on the ATMega32u4 microcontroller are not supported by Adafruit AFMotor library. Read more here to solve this problem:
