Electromagnet 2.5kg - 12V DC - JF-XP2015

An electromagnet that you can use, for example, to make a lock. This electromagnet is very simple to use, you simply offer a voltage (see specifications) and the electromagnet turns on, the polarity does not matter. As soon as the voltage is removed again, the electromagnet loses its magnetism. We do recommend using a flyback diode as the magnet works on the basis of a coil. There is a mounting hole on the back of the magnet with which it can be attached.

*Note: The maximum holding force can only be achieved when the magnet exerts its force perpendicular to a flat material (iron), with nothing in between. If this is not the case, for example due to a curved surface or coating, the force will be (much) lower than indicated in the specifications.
