MCP3008 8-channel 10-bit ADC Chip - SPI - 16-pin DIP

The MCP3008 chip has an 8-channel ADC with 10-bit resolution. With the SPI interface, a sample rate of 200ksps is possible. This could for example be used to add analog inputs to your Raspberry Pi.

• Power consumption: ~425uA (at 5V), max. 500uA

  • At 5V: 200ksps
  • At 2.7V: 75ksps

  • At 2.7V: 1.35MHz
• ADC resolution: 10-bit
