With this RFID card reader you can read cards/tags for your project. The data can be read via UART. While sending the serial data, pin J1 is pulled up and thus gives an indication of a successful card/tag reading. At the same time, pin J2 is also activated, but this is an open-drain pin (so it is pulled down) with which a small load can be switched if necessary.
