LIN Bus to UART Converter - TJA1021

This is a signal interface module designed to translate standard UART communication signals to the LIN Bus protocol, using the TJA1021 chip. The module can be used as both a master (commander) and a slave (responder). To put the module in master mode, both the LIN and INH pins must be connected to the bus. To use the module in slave mode, only the LIN pin needs to be connected to the bus.

Note: The signal pins are connected to an internal 5V reference via a pull-up resistor. Therefore, with 3.3V microcontrollers, use a level converter or additional 20kΩ pull-down resistors between RX and GND and TX and GND to prevent damage to the microcontroller.
