2x6W Stereo Audio Amplifier Mini 5V PAM8406 Volume Control

Suited for small, medium and even large speakers! A power of 6W might not seem as a lot, but if you use 5.5V a set of 2 Ohm speakers, this board can deliver quite some sound! The board is based on the Class-D audio amplifier principle and is therefore extremely efficient compared to the normal Class-AB amplifiers that convert half of their power into heat.

The amplifer is equipped with a potentiometer for volume control. Turning off the potentiometer cuts off the voltage and the current supplied to the board. The potentiometer includes a knob for when the board is to be mounted inside a case.

Note: Make sure that the power is not higher than 5.5V and be aware of polarity. Wiring the + and - incorrectly will damage the chip! The + and - of the output may not be connected to each other in any way!
