A6 GSM GPRS Module with Antenna

With the A6 GSM/GPRS module you can make and receive calls, send text messages* and surf the internet via GPRS with your Arduino. The module can be powered with 5V through the micro USB connection.

* We were unable to get receiving text messages to work after various tests and were unable to determine the cause. This functionality should normally work with the A6 module, but does not work on this module due to a hardware or software error.

Note: In the article above "A6_GSM_GPRS_Programming", a different module is used. The pins of that module correspond to the pins of this A6 module and therefore this will work.

Note: Do not connect the Vcc_in of the A6 module to the 5V of an Arduino. It is unable to deliver enough current.
