MAX9814 Microphone Amplifier Module with Microphone - Automatic Gain

With this module you can easily measure sound with an analog pin on your Arduino or other microcontroller. The module has an automatic gain/amplification (ACG) of the microphone: The module amplifies sounds with a low volume more, and sounds with a higher volume less.

• Supply voltage: 2.4-5.5V DC
• Output voltage: ~0-2.45V (1.25V average)
• Frequency range: 20-20,000Hz
• Adjustable maximum gain:
  • 60dB (Gain pin floating)
  • 50dB (Gain pin connected to GND)
  • 40db (Gain pin connected to Vdd)
• Adjustable attack/release ratio:
  • 1: 4000 (AR pin floating)
  • 1: 2000 (AR pin connected to Vdd)
  • 1: 500 (AR pin connected to GND)
• Two 2mm holes for mounting
• PCB dimensions: 25.4 x 14.1mm

Pinout:

• Vdd: Supply voltage
• GND: Ground/min
• Gain: Pin to set the maximum gain (see above)
• Out: Output of the module
• AR: Pin to set the attack/release ratio
