The NeoFlash Hat is a RGB LED-matrix from M5Stack. The PCB has 126 individually programmable RGB LEDs that can be used for applications such as colorful light animations and displaying time. This module is designed for easy use with the M5StickC*, but it can also be used with other microcontrollers (see last image for pin-out).

Specifications:

  • 126x RGB LEDs
  • PCB dimensions: 58x23.5mm
  • Every LED is individually programmable

Package contents:

  • 1x NeoFlash Hat PCB
  • 1x Acrylic light filter, dark brown
  • 1x 8 pins header male 90 degrees
  • 2x 15cm thread (for attaching the acrylic plate)

*Note: The M5StickC is not included in this package

To use the NeoFlash Hat without a M5StickC, the pins 5V0 (5V supply), GND (Ground) and G26 (data) need to be connected. The pins G36, G0, BAT, 3V3 and 5V1 are solely for attaching the module to the M5StickC and have no functionality within the NeoFlash Hat.

Product FAQ

Use a stable, CE-approved power supply with the correct voltage that can supply sufficient current. The maximum current that an LED can draw is indicated on the product page. Multiply this number by the number of LEDs to calculate the total maximum current. This maximum current is the minimum current that the power supply must be able to supply.
