With this do-it-yourself kit based on the TDA2030 chip you can make your own amplifier!

Specifications:

  • Voltage: 9-15VDC
  • TDA2030 chip 
  • Speaker impedance: 4 to 8 ohms
  • Output power: 2x 14W (with 4 ohm speakers), 2x 9W (with 8 ohm speakers)
  • Potentiometer present (for volume control)  
  • 3.5mm female jack (audio input)
  • Reverse polarity protection with a diode
  • Cooling blocks for optimum cooling
  • LED indicating the status of the amplifier (on/off)
  • Components with values are shown on the PCB
  • PCB format: 70x60mm

Note: At low voltages the LED will be less bright.

  • 1x PCB
  • 4x 0.1uF (104) capacitor
  • 2x 4.7uF capacitor
  • 4x 47uF capacitor
  • 3x 1000uF capacitor
  • 2x 18 ohm resistor
  • 3x 4.7k ohm resistor
  • 8x 100k ohm resistor
  • 1x 50k ohm potentiometer + knob
  • 2x TDA2030
  • 2x Heatsink + screw
  • 1x 3mm LED
  • 1x 1N4007 diode
  • 1x 3.5mm female jack
  • 3x Screw terminal

All locations of the components with value are listed on the PCB.  
Note: Instead of a 2200uF buffer capacitor a 1000uF capacitor is supplied. Solder this one to the location (C11) of the 2200uF capacitor.
